All such additional terms, guidelines, and rules are incorporated by reference into these terms.

These terms of service describe the legally binding terms and conditions that oversee your use of the site. By logging into the site, you are being compliant with these terms, and you represent that you have the authority and capacity to enter into these terms. If you disagree with all of the provisions of these terms, do not log into and/or use the site.

Access to the Site

Organization grants you a non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable, limited license to access the site solely for your own personal, non-commercial use.

Certain Restrictions

The rights approved to you in these terms are subject to the following restrictions:

You hereby irreversibly waive any claims and assertions of moral rights or attribution with respect to your user content.

Acceptable Use Policy

We reserve the right to review any user content and to investigate and/or take appropriate action against you in our sole discretion if you violate the acceptable use policy or any other provision of these terms or otherwise create liability for us or any other person. Such action may include removing or modifying your user content, terminating your account, and/or reporting you to law enforcement authorities.

If you provide organization with any feedback or suggestions regarding the site, you hereby assign to organization all rights in such feedback and agree that organization shall have the right to use and fully exploit such feedback and related information in any manner it believes appropriate. The organization will treat any feedback you provide to organization as non-confidential and non-proprietary.

You agree to indemnify and hold organization and its officers, employees, and agents harmless, including costs and attorneys’ fees, from any claim or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of:

  • Your violation of applicable laws or regulations.
  • Your User Content.

Organization reserves the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter for which you are required to indemnify us, and you agree to cooperate with our defense of these claims. You agree not to settle any matter without the prior written consent of the organization. The organization will use reasonable efforts to notify you of any such claim, action, or proceeding upon becoming aware of it.


Acceptance of any contribution, gift or grant is at the discretion of the ISKCON Patna. The ISKCON Patna will not accept any gift unless it can be used or expended consistently with the purpose and mission of the ISKCON Patna.

No irrevocable gift, whether outright or life-income in character, will be accepted if under any reasonable set of circumstances the gift would jeopardize the donor’s financial security.

The ISKCON Patna will refrain from providing advice about the tax or other treatment of gifts and will encourage donors to seek guidance from their own professional advisers to assist them in the process of making their donation.

The ISKCON Patna will accept donations of cash or publicly traded securities. Gifts of in-kind services will be accepted at the discretion of the ISKCON Patna.

Certain other gifts, real property, personal property, in-kind gifts, non-liquid securities, and contributions whose sources are not transparent or whose use is restricted in some manner, must be reviewed prior to acceptance due to the special obligations raised or liabilities they may pose for ISKCON Patna.

The ISKCON Patna will respect the intent of the donor relating to gifts for restricted purposes and those relating to the desire to remain anonymous. With respect to anonymous gifts, the ISKCON Patna will restrict information about the donor to only those staff members with a need to know.

The ISKCON Patna will not compensate, whether through commissions, finders’ fees, or other means, any third party for directing a gift or a donor to the ISKCON Patna.

Links and Ads

The site may contain links to third-party websites and services and/or display advertisements for third parties.  Such third-party links and ads are not under the control of the organization, and the organization is not responsible for any third-party links and ads. The organization provides access to these third-party links and ads only as a convenience to you and does not review, approve, monitor, endorse, warrant, or make any representations with respect to third-party links and ads. You use all third-party links and ads at your own risk and should apply a suitable level of caution and discretion in doing so. When you click on any of the third-party links and ads, the applicable third party’s terms and policies apply, including the third party’s privacy and data-gathering practices.

Other Users

Each site user is solely responsible for any and all of its own user content. Because we do not control user content, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible for any user content, whether provided by you or by others. You agree that organization will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred as the result of any such interactions. Term and Termination

To make a claim, please provide the following:

  • A description of the copyrighted work or other intellectual property that you claim has been infringed.
  • A description of where the material that you claim is infringing is located on the website is reasonably sufficient to allow ISKCON Patna to locate the material.
  • Your contact information, including your address, telephone number, and email.

If the ISKCON Patna user believes that the material that was removed or to which access was disabled is either not infringing, or the user believes that it has the right to post and use such material from the copyright owner, the copyright owner’s agent, or pursuant to the law, the user must send a counter-notice containing the following information to the designated agent listed below:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the user.
  • Identification of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled and the location at which the material appeared before it was removed or disabled.
  • A statement that the user has a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or a misidentification of the material.
  • The user’s name, address, telephone number, and, if available, e-mail address and a statement that such person or entity consents to the jurisdiction of the court for the judicial district in which the user’s address is located, or if the user’s address is located outside India, for any judicial district in which ISKCON Patna is located, and that such person or entity will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement.

If a counter-notice is received by the designated agent, ISKCON Patna may send a copy of the counter-notice to the original complaining party, informing that person that ISKCON Patna may replace the removed material or cease disabling it in thirty business days. Unless the copyright owner files an action seeking a court order against the user, the removed material may be replaced, or access to it restored in thirty business days or more after receipt of the counter-notice, at ISKCON Patna’s discretion.


These terms are subject to occasional revision, and if we make any substantial changes, we may notify you by sending you an e-mail to the last e-mail address you provided to us and/or by prominently posting notice of the changes on our site. You are responsible for providing us with your most current e-mail address. In the event that the last e-mail address that you provided us is not valid, our dispatch of the e-mail containing such notice will nonetheless constitute effective notice of the changes described in the notice. Any changes to these terms will be effective upon the earliest of thirty calendar days following our dispatch of an e-mail notice to you or thirty calendar days following our posting of notice of the changes on our site. These changes will be effective immediately for new users of our site. Notice Requirement and Informal Dispute Resolution

Before either party may seek arbitration, the party must first send the other party written notice of dispute describing the nature and basis of the claim or dispute and the requested relief. A notice to the organization should be sent to details present on the contact page, after the notice is received, you and the organization may attempt to resolve the claim or dispute informally. If you and the organization do not resolve the claim or dispute within thirty days after the notice is received, either party may begin an arbitration proceeding. The amount of any settlement offer made by any party may not be disclosed to the arbitrator until after the arbitrator has determined the amount of the award to which either party is entitled.

Additional Rules for Non-appearance Based Arbitration

If non-appearance based arbitration is elected, the arbitration shall be conducted by telephone, online, and/or based solely on written submissions; the specific manner shall be chosen by the party initiating the arbitration. The arbitration shall not involve any personal appearance by the parties or witnesses unless otherwise agreed by the parties.

Electronic Communications

The communications between you and organization use electronic means, whether you use the site or send us emails or whether organization posts notices on the site or communicates with you via email.

For contractual purposes, you:

  • Consent to receive communications from organization in an electronic form.
  • Agree that all terms and conditions, agreements, notices, disclosures, and other communications that organization provides to you electronically satisfy any legal obligation that such communications would satisfy if they were in hard copywriting.

Entire Terms

These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the site. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these terms shall not operate as a waiver of such right or provision. The section titles in these terms are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect. The word “including” means “including without limitation”. If any provision of these terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the other provisions of these terms will be unimpaired, and the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed modified so that it is valid and enforceable to the maximum extent permitted by law. Your relationship with the organization is that of an independent contractor, and neither party is an agent or partner of the other. These terms and your rights and obligations herein may not be assigned, subcontracted, delegated, or otherwise transferred by you without the organization’s prior written consent, and any attempted assignment, subcontract, delegation, or transfer in violation of the foregoing will be null and void. The organization may freely assign these terms. The terms and conditions set forth in these terms shall be binding upon the assignee.
